Ensembles for an Outstanding Event

Weddings

The string trio and/or harp trio provide a variety of music for wedding ceremonies. If you are having a church wedding, the strings can coordinate your ceremony service with the organist and the officiant. The Trumpeters dressed in Renaissance costumes greet your guests with fanfares and announce the entrance and exit of the bride and wedding party.

Celebrations

The Chaminade Ensembles include cocktail hour pianist accompanying a vocalist , harp string quartet with keyboard and vocalist, and strolling violins. The play list includes light classical favorites, popular contemporary tunes as well as American Standards.

Private Parties

The Trumpeters playing elegant fanfares will call attention to the guest of honor celebrating the event and increase the excitement of the special day.

Corporate Events

The Chaminade Trumpeters will add an exciting touch to your annual event or holiday party. The trumpeters herald your guests arrival and announce special moments. Chaminade Ensembles serenade your guests with selections from movie themes, show songs, popular tunes and American Standards during the cocktail hour. Our talented musicians will create an exciting event for you and your guests.

Chaminade Players

Jeanie Bavota

Jeanie Bavota attended Peabody Preparatory School, while studying cello with Wallace Toroni of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra

She continued her undergraduate studies at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia and studied with Vladimir Vlcek from the National

Symphony Orchestra.

Since her arrival to New York in 1982, she received her master's degree from Queens College and teaches in the NYC school system.

Hany Rizkalla

Hany Rizkalla studied violin with Erakli Beridze, Archill Kharadze and Vitold Kolasinski of the Cairo Conservatory in Egypt and Jaque Israelivitch, concert master of the Toronto Symphony in Canada. Hany holds a fellowship diploma in violin performance from Trinity College of Music in London and a Licentiate Diploma.

Hany performed with the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, Cairo Opera, Cairo Ballet Company and the Oshawa Symphony Orchestra in Ontario, Canada. Hany is an active performer in New York City, and has worked in off-Broadway shows with the Blue Hill Troop Company.

He has also performed in the Whitney Museum and Carnegie Hall.

Claude Masear

Claude Masear is a free-lance violinist and violist in the New York Metropolitan area. A graduate of New York City Public Schools, Claude attended the noted La Guardia High School of Performing Arts which was portrayed in the motion picture "Fame".

Claude began his studies with violinist Margaret Pardee at the Julliard Pre-College division. At Brooklyn College, Claude studied with Masao Kawasaki and was a frequent performer in concert violinist Maestro Perlman Master Classes.

In addition to his performing career, Claude has enjoyed a distinguished career as a music educator.

Tony Bavota

Tony Bavota began his study of the trumpet under the tutelage of Dominick DeGangi, principal trumpet of the Baltimore Symphony. After high school, he enlisted in the Army Band and attended the Naval School of Music. His tour of duty took him to Germany. While stationed there, he studied with renown trumpeter, Carole Reinhart.

After his military service, he attended Mary Washington College in Virginia and received his Bachelor's of Music. He relocated to New York City in 1980 and studied with Vincent Penzarella of the New York Philharmonic.

He concluded his studies at Queens College in Flushing, NY and began his career as a freelance musician. His experiences include latin bands, jazz ensembles, opera productions, orchestras, and national tours with shows such as "Annie" and "42nd Street".
